Famous for its picturesque beauty, The Cotswolds exhibits a range of breath taking views as well as setting itself in an important part of the English civil war.The Cotswolds tour will take you through some of the prettiest villages and towns including Castlecombe and Cirencester.
Cheltenham Races: The famous annual Cheltenham Races has been a great event for spectators and jockeys since the early 19th century. In addition to the races; the spa town of Cheltenham hosts many other festivals and holds some unique grade I listed buildings, shops and galleries.
Broadway Tour: Known as the Jewel of the Cotswolds; the scenic village of Broadway provides stunning architecture from Cotswold Stone including the iconic Broadway tower, picturesque walks, an array of shops and galleries and many unique events. Broadway also hosts the heritage railway line GWSR where you can board the steam locomotives and explore more of the beauty of the Cotswolds.
Gloucester: Sitting a few miles south west of Cheltenham lies the historic city of Gloucester on the banks of the River Severn. Gloucester offers lots to see and do including the museum of Beatrix Potter, the unique rainbow street, parks, museums, restaurants, shops and markets. The city has an interesting connection with the United States of America. The Cathedral of Gloucester has been a popular place of worship for over 1300 years and has been shown in many movies and series including Dr Who, Harry Potter and Sherlock.
Bourton-on-the-water: Voted one of the prettiest villages in England is the stunning Cotswold Stone built village sitting in the heart of the Cotswolds. Bourton offers visitors to explore its stunning bridges, unique motoring and toy collection museum and grade II listed model village.
Gardens at Painswick: Escape to the stunning gardens of Painswick. Designed during the 18th century; Painswick gardens are a great place to relax with your own thoughts, socialise or simply admire the beauty of the place.
Home to one of the oldest buildings in England; Painswick is home to a grade II listed building built in 1478.
Burford & Moreton-in-Marsh: The historic towns of Burford and Moreton-in-Marsh are great examples showing off the authentic beauty of the Cotswolds. Both towns have an outstanding selection of independent shops and natural beauty on display. The picturesque road between both towns is perfect way to see the charming Cotswolds.
